It's time for us to jut get rid of the death penalty like most of the first world countries have. It doesn't serve the purpose it was made to do (prevent crimes) and frankly, I don't trust the government to get it right anymore. I agree with Rods point about death being forever and if you find you made a mistake, you can't undo killing someone. Let's just make life without parole the highest punishment in our land.

We've done away with public hangings, we should do away with this shit. As long as Charles Manson still walking his evil ass around in prison we are clearly killing the wrong people. Just give this shit the dodo status and let it go extinct.

No such thing as a humane way to kill someone. And too many death row inmates have questionable convictions. Just give them life.
