This is quite a thought-ful post. While I have always pondered, though only momentarily, the ghosts and what they represented in Scrooge's life and compared them to my own, I never truly gave pause and considered my own ghosts. This prose has made me do just that. As I am in the beginning of this process I cannot report on whether I am happy about it or not...lol. But, in the end, I am sure it will prove most beneficial as my first blush has me realize I love too much in the future and in desperation of assuring it comes out just so out of reaction to the hurts and crushing blows of my past. My present has gotten lost in the shuffle I'm afraid. I'm off to contemplate and reflect. Wish me well.
