San Bernardino and Paris should be required reading for some people . If you think that open immigration is good for this country then sit down and explain that to the native 'Americans'

If you go by the results of this poll, America has indeed turned into a nation of self important, xenophobic haters. Sad.

With how bad JimO comments about our "exceptional" nation, then why do they want to come here? Furthermore would adding a bunch of displaced refugees who can't take care of themselves ie food, shelter, driving, writing, and speech be idealistic? Not to mention the background checks. When there is nothing documented on these people in Syria, where does the information come from? Reliable sources....

Wow, from this poll this planet's most 'exceptional' nation is filled with simply bullies who are scared into quivering jello of 'others' (or ebola)! GOP worshipers trumpet America as 'exceptional' yet spread nothing but fear, hatred, bigotry. We have more domestic terrorists already in US as sovereign citizens, Oath Keepers, posse comitatus, evangelical killers (Swanson of IA), KKK, militias, skinheads, white supremacist members than will every be Syrian refugees.
Begin exceptional means able to withstand some punches from other cultures and ideas and yet remain true basic acceptance! That's what the Christ dude demonstrated.
