The lion guard is okay I love the humor but I just can't stop myself from criticizing how the characters were drawn.... especially simba and the hyenas
The hyenas look like "little people" compared to the originals
Simba looks very different compared from the past two films... from a maturing lion to a fierce and powerful looking lion to a uhm I dunno really how to describe him now so.....
And lastly all the characters or the animals there look like they're floating in an inch from the ground or they jst don't blend from the background unlike the past two films

And in response to Josh Pauley it takes place after Simba and Nala have had their cubs but before the ending of Simba's Pride, thats why Kovu and Kiara are still cubs. Kovu was never the same age as Simba but the same age as his cub Kiara.

I really like the lion guard me and my son watch it pretty much every day but I was watching an episode that featured zira kovu and the other two cubs and couldn't help but wonder why is kovu still a cub he's roughly the same age as Simba he so be fully grown at this point of time if anyone could help me solve this it would be greatly appreciated it is currently the biggest mystery in my life and finding out would fill the gap thanks

Did lion died when the movie cam out if so here what I believe kion and the lion gruad died in a dangerous mission if so if I am correct about that let me know
