It amazes me that the only bad thing people can conjure up about Bernie Sanders (30 years fighting for the middle class) is that he is a "socialist" and make the veiled inference to try to make people think that means he is a communist. Most media pundits (in the few instances he is covered) will say he is honest and truthful in his beliefs and ethical in the way he runs his campaign (some rogue staffers notwithstanding).

How many presidential candidates have risen to the integrity of Bernie Sanders? I just don't understand how people can prefer Hillary Clinton (other than the "first woman president" card.

This is what I noticed last night when voting on other online media sites very soon after the debate ....It isn't that Sanders may have won the online opinion poll...but I am beginning to smell a rat...a bot rat. The vote count is way over the top.

This poll is misleading. All the Clinton supporters couldn't vote with their landlines.

Hillary Clinton should be in prison. Barack Obama is a globalist traitor who has added more debt over these illegal wars in the middle east and globalist policies than every other president in US history combined, including the trainwreck Bush. The reality is that the wall street bankers have already handpicked Clinton to continue the destruction of our Constitution and middle class along with these sellout Republicans like Paul Ryan. Face it, your vote doesnt count anyway. Your country is toast. Get used to being poor and having your Constitutional rights taken away. Thank the mainstream media also for aiding in ruining the country by dumbing you down with misinformation.

"Hillary wins in national polls because they use land lines. The only people still using land lines are old and out of the loop. She wins votes among those groups because of name recognition."

I was a professional pollster for nearly 30 years. No major polling firm relies solely on landlines, and haven't for many years.

It's true that there are major differences in candidate support levels between various age groups --support for Sanders is far higher among younger potential voters. But response rates for both landline and mobile phone polls are now appallingly low (low teens), so the degree of weighting that's required to bring them into line with actual voting population demographics continues to rise. Differing estimations in the characteristics of who will actually cast ballots go a long way towards explaining the differing projections of various polling firms.

You're correct when you say that older population is far more likely to still use a landline -- this is why pollsters now include mobile phones also, and have for years. Younger voters are far more likely to be supporters of Sanders, but for the reasons I've just described they don't explain Clinton's lead overall.

These polls are strange. This is what the polls were 5 minutes after the debate last night and hasn't moved at all. I voted and it didn't even register so maybe Hillary votes don't count?

The reason Sander have more percentage is because 95% are Republican. That why they pick Sander. They Republican are worried, because, history is the making for Hillary. he he he. They will once again for 4 more yrs and that 100% Watch the republican cry once more, i never wrong on politics pick since I've been voting independent.

A online poll is unscientific at best but I would be worried if I was a Republican or a member of the DNC. It shows which direction those that are actually most likely to vote are going to choose. Bernie has that passion and HC honestly does not. Her comment about "Everybody should love me." turned my stomach and I'm sure will be the subject of memes and Republican commercials. We Americans need a President that is willing to stand up to his/her distractors and challenge them to have a better idea (something the Republicans don't have is a better idea). We need a President that is willing to say "you're right, lets work together on this.". I frankly don't see anyone other than Bernie Sanders being able to do that. So that's why Bernie keeps winning the online polls. That is why HC is ahead in the Scientific polls, but the more people learn about Bernie...the more HC looks like the needy little political hack she is. #feelthebern #Berniesanders2016

What I don't understand is, how can Bernie Sanders be winning every online poll by a landslide, but then be so far behind in all the official polls? Every time there's a poll done by online votes, Bernie has 80% to 95% of the votes. But then when you check the official polls, Clinton is winning the national polls by more than 20 points. Doesn't make sense.

How in the hell did Hillary get 5% after blathering in total confusion over the mess she made in the Middle East?
