I think that there should be leeway if so. When I was in high school I worked full time and went to school full time, supporting myself. My mother could not drive me and my dad was mia. I worked long odd hours and sometimes would be at school in the morning as early as 530am. I think it's a good idea to try to keep youth under control and crime down, but in what ways will this be managed? And isn't the police force busy enough with our crime without having to deal with another problem? Maybe parents should be better informed and a little more responsible. Also rather than letting someone go when they are in trouble, there should be stronger punishment.

I think the curfew is a great idea, but I don't think it should be limited just to high school children. Any child grade 12 or younger should be at home after 11pm unless accompanied by their parents.
