It's not the speed of the song...it's not the way the artist puts his/her own twist on it...it's how much patriotism is brought out of the people listening...and she definitely did it well!! ...and then some

Thank You so VERY MUCH for not slaughtering our National Anthem as so many others have done!!! A singer can try to put their own spin on any song, BUT a true artist knows when to place the emphasis on the on the feeling associated with the content!!! The National Anthem has always been meant to show the PRIDE in our ability to win our battle for freedom so very, very many years ago.

Completely, obviously a fake lip sync. People really don't see that ? A disgrace. I have seen 100s of amateurs step up and give it there best shot, and still be loved for effort. Veterans, police,firemen, high schoolers mothers, amateurs. SHE was obviously faking to a modified pre-record.

Nowhere close to the Dixie Chicks' performance in 2003. I guess we have gotten to where everybody's performance is awesome---when it is not. But she cleans up pretty good.

While her performance was good here are my thoughts... Not only Gaga but other performers want to put their own twist in the anthem somewhere and I think that is wrong. Secondly, this was to kick off a sporting event so the tempo needed to reflect the excitement.
Gaga has a beautiful voice so I am not slamming her in particular.

I totally think she looked like she was lip syncing. Didn't even seem like she was trying to cover it up or make it look more realistic
