Bernie took the debate by miles.
I am a Brit , born and bred in Manchester. I have been following your politics closely since Bernie appeared.
We suffer in Britain from the same no future right wings politics as the USA , though the present government here does not reflect the people's wishes any more than the Iraq war did.
We have the same ridiculous media bias against our left wing as you suffer in the USA.
Bernie Saunders speaks plain words of hope , decency , and common sense , and I believe he has the teeth to go with the bark.
I hope Bernie becomes the president of the USA . You need him , and I think the rest of the world will benefit from his success .
I am not surprised that the young folk of your country are moved by him. They are right !!
I will not comment on the insincerity and basket cases he is up against ????

Notice how Hillary Clinton gets the ignorant vote and Bernie Sanders gets the vote of people who actually pay attention.

Big media is the direct beneficiary of big money in politics. Most of the money spent by super pacs and billionaires on campaigns goes to buying political ads on tv. These are massive corporations concerned only with profit. Is it any wonder they skew everything in favor of Hillary Clinton? Bernie Sanders is fighting to refocus our government on the will of the people. Our government has done the bidding of the super wealthy donor class for too long.

Bernie has literally won every debate thus far, it's no wonder as to why the DNC tried to limit the amount of debates initially! Also, the moderators were clearly biased towards Clinton. . . THE MEDIA CANNOT DEFEAT US!

  • Mark - 8 years ago

Why does the media say Clinton won? Well let's see. Clinton's campaign was funded 400,000 by time warner who owns CNN. You can see the bias by the amount of time they give Hildog in the debate over Bernie. Every article on CNN uses negative connotations of Bernie and always starts with Hillary with the exception of a few.

I guarantee you if Hillary is elected president she will not do anything she said she would. #BernOrBust

I think the Bern won, but all of media thinks Hillary won, or that it was a tie, except TYT. They are the only ones who actually payed attention during the debate, like the rest of the people who recognized Bernie won. Good job, Bernie, on taking TYT's advice to attack Hillary and expose her for the person she is.

Why do people insist on questioning tuition-free public college? Why? It is quite obvious that that's the right thing to provide people. Many other modern countries have tuition-free college, and it works very well for them. A high school diploma is no longer enough to ensure better qualities of life. Nowadays, a bachelor's degree is the minimum standard for better qualities of life. Therefore, public college should be free, just as public elementary and high schools are free. And, if a wealthy kid wants to atttend free public high school, he/she is undoubtedly allowed; therefore, a wealthy high school graduate should also be allowed to attend free public college. Furthermore, ask, what percentage of wealthy kids actually opt to attend public schools rather than private (not free) schools? An extremely small amount, if any. That same reality shall most probably exist for free public colleges. However, that is besides the point. Wealthy people have police protection, don't they, and that is a national right free of charge to them. Similarly, those wealthy people should have that right to public schools, including colleges, as national rights.
We are all in this together, rich, middle class, or poor. We also need to remember that Bernie intends, and has always advocated and acted, to end the huge financial inequality in the U.S. Therefore, with such a mindset, we shall no longer have such divide between social classes. Bernie knows that we need to change our culture from one of individualism to one of inclusivism, wihout the need for class warfare.

Bernie won. The female moderator should be fired!

I'm a Canadian who is very interested in American politics because it will undoubtably affect me. People of America please vote for Bernie and get the health care at an affordable cost that you deserve. We've had it for over 50 years and it is just a way of life. He cares about the American people and the majority of society. Do the right thing and vote for him.

  • Patrick - 8 years ago

It was a good, exciting debate but I think a lot of people saw how quick-thinking and passionate Bernie is when faced with controversial topics. I don't remember a single time that Hillary actually answers a yes or no question with either yes or no. It's kind of mind blowing to watch someone try to fake authenticity.

  • rboin nelson - 8 years ago

he hit it out of the park tonight ! I seen a few people mention florida and ohio .lets not forget Illinois and Wisconsin .we need to keep the ball rolling for Bernie .

  • Kyle - 8 years ago

    "Well ya know"
I'm fucking sick of Hillary dodging questions. They're like bullets and if they hit her, her campaign will be over. She needs to bite the bullet and give in to the questions. Maybe if you were honest the past 20 years of your life, the polls showing trustworthiness would be in your favor. As you can see, they are far from it.

  • Ben - 8 years ago

Bernie was the clear victor here. Not even close. And what I cannot stand about Hillary is that she kept that same, smug smile the entire time. Bernie looked angry, passionate, fervent! As he should be! People are fed up with what our country has come to, and not only did Bernie speak the truth tonight, he HAS BEEN SPEAKING THE TRUTH FOR DECADES. Vote Hillary if you don't want to try & fix this country.

    Hilary is a fucking faggot.

  • Anon ymous - 8 years ago

Watching Hillary debate is cringe-worthy. She will lie about anything to get into office and is undermining the intelligence of the American people. Hard to believe she is even running. Bernie sticks to his beliefs he's had from the start and I can honestly say I haven't seen that from a presidential candidate in a long time.

  • Michaelvtaz - 8 years ago

Bernie is/was consistent & straight forward.
Hilary is/has changed her view on many things; she copies Bernie.

Bernie should win both OH & FL :)

  • Liz - 8 years ago

I love that Jorge persisted in getting a straight answer out of Clinton
She is so rehearsed in her circular answers she would not know how to give a real answer. Bernie won!

  • Justice - 8 years ago

One can't objectively say that Hillary won that debate... Bernie absolutely crushed her on every point because he has been consistent in his beliefs for his entire political career while Hillary was on the defensive the entire debate because she says whatever she has to.

Can't wait to see how big media will spin this in to a Hillary win just like it did after the previous debate when Bernie also destroyed her. Give Bernie money so we can have someone leading our country who is undeniably influenced only by the people.

  • Stacey - 8 years ago

Hands down Bernie won. Hillary is more of a mainstream politician with a really bad record. Bernie on the other hand is a for the people politian. He was even voted the best person by TIME magazine. You don't see that kind of praise very often for people in office. He's trustworthy and could do amazing things in office if we give him the chance. Go BERNIE!!!

  • Lisa Lightning - 8 years ago

Bernie won. It was hard for him to get any time, since she eats up the airtime and I don't know why they never call her out on it. His answers were short, honest, and full of integrity. She kept trying to smear his good record. And yeah, why won't she release transcripts of her speeches unless she is ashamed of them? She tried to smear Obama's record when she ran against him also. Why doesn't anyone remember? She's also stolen all Bernie's talking points.
By the way, if anyone has seen Michael Moore's movie "Sicko" you will see the other side of Cuba, great healthcare system and educated people. And Michael's new movie "Where to invade next" shows how other European countries manage to have healthcare and free college for citizens. People in other countries cannot understand why we put up with our system. Read about Bernie here: BernieSanders.com

If you honestly believe Hillary Clinton won this debate, you may be better off voting in the Republican Primary.

  • Adam - 8 years ago

Cheap shot with the video clip of Sanders.. How many questionable clips of Hillary could/should have been used? Nevertheless, Sanders defended gracefully. Why does Hillary deflect the tough questions with attacks at Sanders? Especially when they can be rerouted back to her..

  • Socialist for Bernie - 8 years ago

I think the moderators fired directly at Clinton, E-mail scandal, Bengazi lies, deportation, friendship with Donald Trump, and so on. She was mostly defending herself, taking much her time talking about the past. She hardly could muster an attach at Sanders without having it back fire, import/export bank also known as corporate welfare, the auto bail-out also known as the wall street bail-out, the single payer system also known as a right for all people. Then she re-words her rhetoric to sound like she is selling the same thing as Bernie. He doesn't have to change his beliefs they are built into who he is.

Sander is to rude and aggressive,Hillary Won

  • Tristen G - 8 years ago

Though the debate had obvious biases in the moderation, I still loved watching as Hillary claimed Bernie's proposals as her own and then tried to twist them as illegitimate or impossible. She can't dispute her history and refused to answer incriminating questions because, let's face it, it would most likely be used by the FBI who already has a witness. Bernie answered more questions without pander, though you have to admit to some. In the eyes of a debate kid, I'd say that the winner was Bernie Sanders due to platform, historical evidence, and the beautiful sass factor in his answers

  • Lisa - 8 years ago

Bernie went after her record! Actions speak louder than words. Unless those words are paid for by Goldman Sachs!

  • Shaaron Evans - 8 years ago

Bernie clearly won the debate. He even got a standing ovation with loud chants of Bernie and was mobbed by the crowd while Clinton stood on stage quietly shaking hands with the same people.

  • Sonia McIntoah - 8 years ago

Right! But, there was no shutting her up. Her mocking Sanders was rude too.

  • Janie Jones - 8 years ago

The commentator named Karen was very rude to Senator Sanders, and kept interrupting his answers. Not good and clearly one sided. Gave much more time to Mrs. Clinton, not fair.
