I love your blog and was worried when I didn't see it for such a long time. I truly think you should do what's best for you. Can't wait to try the bagel recipe. You said you can really use any flour. Does that include whole wheat pastry flour?

Of all the blogs I read yours is the one I love the best. I actually read it last because I want to savour it. Any blog you write is okay with me - just do what works best for you. Hoping you continue to improve and get back to full health.

So happy to see you! And stop saying you're fat- you look fine. At least you had reserves when you got sick! I'm on the PT bandwagon, it really does help. If you need a lift to get there (or get home!) I'm around. PM me and I'll give you my number. I'll catch you on the rerun, Sunday mornings are busy for us. Keep baking!

Mark, I'm always happy when your blog pops up in my inbox. You do need to take care of yourself first. First step: make a physical therapy appointment!!! Yes, they are called physical terrorists for a reason, but eventually it helps. It ties in quite nicely with the slow quilting movement, since it is a process, and the you celebrate the process.

Love your blog and will take what you are able to do. I love your humor and enjoy your personal sharing, makes me appreciate my health and be grateful for what I have. Keep your wonderful spirit and do Physical Therapy, not fun but definitely worth it in terms of improving recovery.

Just had physical therapy for a total knee replacement about 6 months ago. It is a lifesaver - teaches you things you always did automatically before. I would highly recommend you try it. You will be amazed by what you will be able to do when you are done. But remember, sometimes it really is physical torture instead of physical therapy - but SOOO well worth it.

I recently underwent physical therapy after 2 broken vertebrae in 4 months. (I have osteoporosis.) It was very hard work but dramatically improved my balance, endurance, flexibility, and strength. It was sooooo totally worth it! I sincerely recommend you do it. It takes time to see the results,at first it just wears you out. So be patient-I know that is hard for you!! Hang in there.

I am writing a short blog about my travels each day. I find it time consuming. I can't imagine writing a long blog such as yours. I would be exhausted. Do what is right for you. Putting myself in your shoes, I would probably do an occasional short blog. Just choose what you feel are the most important or most fun items to blog about. Having said that, do take care of yourself. Your health is priority.

I love your blog. I was crushed when your wonderful magazine wasn't anymore. You're one of the funniest people I almost know. Please get better every day and write as much or as little whatever is best for you. I love hearing about you and your personal life. Please keep us all updated on your health. We care. Lots of hugs, Linda

I'm just happy when I see something come in to my email from you. I've thought about you often and worried about your health so any update you can give us is fine with me. I do like to hear the personal stuff so I know how you are doing. I like the variety you add to your posts and find myself wondering just where you are heading next with ideas, recipes and such. As to your move - are you sure you don't want to try out Canada? LOL!! Vancouver is a nice place.
