This would be setting a precedent, inferring that other long service staff should receive recognition too. For example Wilson Way after John Wilson who died recently and dedicated a lifetime of service to Ashridge as Head Ranger (the lead title in his day) or Greame Cannon. I could enlarge the list of other long serving staff.

My father had the idea about renaming the walk in the honour of Bob and I thought it would be a good idea to have a Poll.

I think this is a brilliant idea and he would be deeply honoured. It might be a nice touch to interview him about the walk and have a recording on file?
