I definitely don't agree with vigilante form of justice. Yes I hate pedophiles, yes I hate sexual abuse, no I don't support creep catchers. You have every day people attempting to get justice with no form of raining g or boundaries, and further more could jeopardize these people ever being charged criminally and having a record that would stop them from living in certain areas. Or being in locations that could endanger people.

Everyone cries for hard fast justice until it happens that they find themselves on the other end of this group. You've taken something that is not black and white and tried to put it into a box. If the police did this you'd all be crying injustice, abuse, neglect, misconduct. Wake up and smell the coffee.
"Saying that he seemed normal" means jack. A person with schizophrenia seems normal until the delusions kick in. Are these people doctors who a running this group, are they trained in neuropsychology?? I doubt it.

Would you trust a vet to fix your car? Or a plumber to wire your house?? Then why are we trusting every day people who are entraping people based upon their idea of right and wrong to fix an issue they aren't qualified for.

It's good that creep catchers finds these creeps and shares their faces to the world all the cops do is put them back on the street to perv on more children in after couple nights in jail. atleast with creep catchers we can be aware of these creeps that the cops let rom the streets. the rcmp officer that was caught only spent 2 nights in jail and is now out there somewhere probably preying on more children but atleast we know who to watch out for. hope he ain't a cop still. if that creep pulls me over I'm gonna scream and freak the fuck out.

I in not way think these people should be left alone! They must be caught an punished! However, I think it is sad that their kids and wives have to see the conversations and naked pictures on line.

I'm not sure what the laws on the situation are, but I have heard that the police cant charge them now as it was considered entrapment. (Which is stupid!!) Does anyone know if these people can be charged?

I fully support Creep Catchers. It is too bad there is not a chapter here in Edmonton. Edmonton Cops would be all over them though, because the police don't get to vet who is being caught by creep catchers.Police
would not want a budget supporting member of Commission, City Hall, MLA ,or worse yet a fellow Police Officer to be outed by Police Catchers.

As much as I dislike the notion of vigilante justice, I dislike the notion of pedophile policemen or police cover-ups even more.

I was taken by the second part of the tape in which another officer offered what appeared to be two completely unacceptable choices for handling any evidence that the participants had. One of the two choices was an implied threat in relation to ''dumping' all the information on the cell phone - including personal information - that the Police would decide what was ans was not evidence.

As soon as there is suspected police involvement in a suspected criminal activity, there has to be some overriding mechanism that removes the investigation from the police force involved. A JP or judge should have been called into supervise what evidence was taken from that phone.

These people are not hurting their families at all Sad Day! It is the perps and disgusting excuses for human who would go after vulnerable children and youth. They are the ones hurting their families and only them. If they weren't deviants then their families would not be hurt. They do not care about anything other then being caught. They will never stop if they are allowed to continually get away with it! Fear of jails sure doesn't stop these animals! WTG CC!!

  • steven - 8 years ago

Now that CC has caught a cop the police are bad mouthing creep catchers. What kind of police investigation would have their officer showing up to meet a 14 year old. This is just another example of police cover-up to protect "one of their own". Our great police force does nothing to deter internet crime, identity theft, phone scams, fake Craigs listing , casino money laundering and dangerous dogs . If you try to protect yourself you will likely be charged. I will not call the police to my door.

So Sad Day are you saying it is far better they actually cause harm to a child then get caught by the RCMP and their names published anyway when they go to court rather than being caught before a child is actually harmed ? I make no apologies for saying i agree with these guys. Far better caught and named and shamed before any child has to suffer for the rest of their lives. The wives and especially the children of these monsters are far better knowing sooner rather than later what lives with them.

  • Stacey - 8 years ago

I think what they are doing is great. For God sakes the justice system is constantly failing our children.. I completely agree with everything Paul said.. because of creeps catchers parents can be more aware of the dangers out there. And having those faces go viral is a great thing because now we know who to look out for

  • Shery - 8 years ago

As I see it. My opinion only. These guys are doing a better job in a shorter amount of time and publicizing the faces of these CREEPS. WHO KNOWS IF COPS WERE CAUGHT BY COPS IF THEY WOULD EVER BE EXPOSED. I TOTALLY SUPPORT THESE GUYS IN WHOEVER THEY CATCH.. who gives a shit about some under cover operation that takes months and is never publicized for us to know. This is faster, less time and saving many children trauma and being molested. You keep rocking it guys.

Canadians are angry and frustrated that Canada does not seem to be working for them anymore so its time to take matters into our own hands. This ties right in with the fact that housing is so detached from Canadian wages (350% increase in less than 15 years) and all being sold to foreign owners, college and university tuition has tripled in 20 years yet there is over 100,000 foreign students in BC alone. Its time we took this country back ourselves and I support the Creep Catchers movement 100%.

  • Colleen - 8 years ago

I praise and 100% support the SCC ! They are actually doing something to keep our community a little safer for our children! Their work so far proves this , everyday a new catch !
Way to go guys , thank you so much for all your work!

I agree with Richard. I find this comment a piss off though "B.C.’s Public Safety Minister Mike Morris said the group doesn’t “know what kinds of undercover operations, what kinds of investigations are already underway by the police. And the fact they would intervene in one of those situations by doing what they do could jeopardize the investigation.” " I get the point he would be making if he was saying it for the right reason but this guy, is saying it because he's pissed it's the people of the town that are doing the work and making the "RCMP" look like fucking idiots!!! One of there own just got caught trying to pedophile out with a girl he thought was 14!!!! A human being who is suppose to PROTECT us and OUR KIDS! It's disgusting that they would even be trying to point some kind of blame on the ones who caught this gross F**K. The system is disgusting. They should be keeping a better eye on their so called "police" .
If they aren't shooting and killing people left right and center (and more then half the time for hate or racism) their now molesting or screwing around with little kids! That's just to fucked up!

  • Sad Day - 8 years ago

I understand that these people need to be caught, but these people are really hurting their families as well. How do they think these peoples wive/siblings/children feel seeing this online? Can you imagine being called by your friends saying they saw your family on YouTube? Can you imagine how a wife would fear for the safety of her children because his face/name/licence plate was posted online? I worry for the safety of these vigilantly groups as well. If they are going to take matters into their own hands, turn it over to the police. It doesn't need to go online where they can ruin other innocent lives.

  • Richard - 8 years ago

Those already protecting those looking for young children are already giving excuses such as "oh, he is a mental midget" or "he doesn't understand." Well, that makes it perfectly OK for them to go after children...
Caught in the act = guilty. Mental deviant = greater danger. Put them away for the sake of society. Stop with explaining it away with f-ing excuses.
