The survey results speak for themselves. Feeds are very much dead and Flickr is king in the SL blogging world. Personally I've never really looked at feeds and have only ever used Flickr and a little Facebook to see what's new coming up.
I'm not a creator, however, if I was I'd want my bloggers to achieve a certain amount of views too, that's just good business. This is the RL job of many designers, so you can't blame them for this.
I will always unfollow anyone who re-posts and I know many others who do the same. It's irritating to the viewer.
One thing that wasn't touched on in the post in a way to achieve more views, is that you need to interact with your Flicr followers. There is no point in putting up a photo on Flickr and hoping for the best. Like and comment on other peoples photos, share the love, be supportive of others and that will come back to you.
I think it's a shame creators only want over 1 k Flickr views and a requirement of feeds on blogs as there are many less established bloggers who do a fantastic job and shouldn't be discounted because of numbers.
