Brilliantly put Steven. I honestly think looking back now the post Connery films have a tv movie look to them whereas the Connery ones always remain vintage and classic looking. I hope when Sean Connery leaves this world mainstream tv give him the fanfare he deserves.

Sean Connery was by far the greatest James Bond actor of them all. He reinvented "coolness". I'll take the Sean Connery in Goldfinger & Thunderball over Roger Moore's top two best movies and/or any of the other Bond actors top two best movies any day of the week. I personally think Roger Moore is way overrated by his fan base. Don't get me wrong, he was very good but he wasn't no where near as good as Sean Connery. Roger Moore though did a great job taking over the role after Sean Connery for twelve years. Nobody can deny that but no other Bond actor played James Bond as cool as the great Sean Connery. He proved that in 1983 when he starred in Never Say Never Again and proved that he was the Bond of the ages. I always wished Sean Connery would play a villain in a future James Bond Movie. that would be so cool.

Agreed 100%. Sean Connery is the actor who brought this phenomenon to the masses. The other actors just turned up for the money. I hate it when "fans" of other Bond actors cheapen Connery's films just because they were made before 50+ years ago.

Connery was the first to play Bond, and was the best!Sadly after he left,it slowly went downhill, with only the odd Bond film, played by different actors, catching the public's eye!
