You must have gotten your tidy genes from your mama. If you remember from living at home, I'm much more concerned with tidy than I am with clean. I don't like sticky counters and a dirty stove top drives me nuts, but a little dust or smudged faucets don't bother me in the least as long as everything is in its place, pillows neatly arranged on the sofa, junk mail recycled, etc.

My mama taught me to keep my house clean. I was a stay at home mom and now am 60 year old empty nester. My bed has never gone unmade and I clean deeply every week. I owned my own cleaning service for many years until a back injury forced me to close. I just feel better in a clean house.
