I think it should be illegal to feed cats cause they poop in my yard cause my neighbor feeds them.but complains about my dog howling and crying once I leave my house . I can get a fine but not her for feeding cats

Absolutely not! It's not their fault their irresponsible owners dumped them and failed to properly get them neutered and/or spayed! If we eliminate the cats, feral or otherwise, the rodents will take over! You can't even begin to imagine the destruction rodents can inflict on our vehicles, homes and crops in just a few short weeks. Support your local shelters in their efforts to trap, neuter and release feral cats.

No law should be against feeding cats anywhere on the planet because no cat asked to be born! It's not their faults. This is a damn stupid law! The fact if it's against the law then why is it not against the law to kill them at animal shelters by injections of poisons to kill them! This is wrong! If the law is worried about this or whoever why the hell don't someone invent a damn liquid or pill to put in their water or food to keep populations down, they do for women, so what the hell is the problem that can't be done! It makes no sense! The bottom line here is there's no way in hell you kill a cat that it shouldnt be against the law! This is a bull shit law That should not be against the law to feed any cat! People need to wake up and let's do the right thing to help these cats who has to suffer because it's some crazy ass law prohibiting feeding of cats and can't invent a simple pill or liquid to put in their foods or water to keep the population down and help these wonderful babies out! Humans it seems are to stupid to figure it out! UNBELIEVABLE

It's not the cats fault it's feral, however, I don't think feeding them is really right either, unless you capture & neuter or spay them! My opinion is that all animals that you choose to be family should be indoor animals, I really feel cats should not be left out to roam or dogs in doghouses or chained outside is good pet parenting!! My opinion!!! However I don't think you should be cited or arrested for taking care of these animals. Find & fine the owners not people who just care!!!

We have had free roaming.....not feral cats for quite a few years.we couldn't capture the mom who gave us sixteen kittens in 2 years. We had a very hard time finding any shelter to take these kittens. We now have 2 of them in our house and 2 outside (nutered).

If you feed a feral cat you are then taking ownership. By taking ownership they are then considered pets and must be vaccinated under Pennsylvania state law.

I can see if there us an issue in an area of having the law. However there are many farms around that need the cats in able to hunt mice and other small animals that could hurt the crops and get into surrounding houses. Having lived on a working farm, we relied on feral cats to keep mice from coming in the house in fall when the fields were cut down and the temperature would go down.
