Also got these confused as a kid. Kinda like having 2 teams with the same name in an 8 team league. Tres Canadian.
I'm surprised. Due South was intriguing as a child because of the dog but I really couldn't care about it too much more than it could have been a cartoon. I don't know why North of 60 is more memorable to me. The sick theme song? The cast of indigenous actors that resonated more with my life and family than a Mountie in Chicago? Tom Jackson vs Paul Gross? North of 60 was clearly much better written but that doesn't really matter for memorability!
