I understand why it sounds like a good idea. I was living here when the last one occurred. It was a difficult day for crowd control and expensive as I recall....They needed helicopters to clear the crowds later that evening, including when the Prime Minister Mulroney landed. There is no doubt it was a Big Event. But my real concern is ,now I have learned more about our environment, is for the destruction of our foreshore and beaches 200K plus people can have. I think something more modest would be better and less destructive and still be fun. Thanks.
