Howard Messing hands down. More customers than all of them and been doing this longer than all of them. Judy even looks up to him. At the end of the day, he also chose the correct path by not having Meditech beholden to shareholders, the street & earnings per share. After a few years of stagnant growth, they are signing new customers. Epic's current growth is mostly via M&A activity by their customers.

JF-Hands down. Paul Black, Neal Patterson, John Hammergren, etc. have made their minions very wealthy (and themselves & families ) by having them kiss the ring. At the end of the day, JF chose the correct path by not having Epic beholding to shareholders, the street & earnings per share.

Given the choices..can't see how it would be anyone but JF. Meditech has not really grown in decades, Shafer is too new to fairly judge (would be a toss up if Neal was still here), and Allscripts /Black is as Mr H said ...a mess.
