'The Bachelorette': Grade the season so far

I've been a dedicated viewer of Bachelor since Ben's (of the Bay Area) season. Over the seasons I've definitely seen ABC "push the drama narrative" only to be a little let down at the lack of how dramatic the previewed clip turned out to be. As a result, it becomes a punchline when Chris Harrison says "in the most dramatic season finale in Bacehlor history!!" So, with Becca they tamed it down, and it's right they should! After forcing her to be filmed in the break up with Arie (I mean, c'mon; that did NOT need to be filmed), they owe her a little less drama and a lot more love. I'm team Blake, but honestly, what it seems like the past few seasons have provided us as viewers are either future contestants for Paradise or to be the next Bachelor/Bachelorette. That's the gimmick: cast a pool of dudes and dudettes who will have viewers follow them on Twitter, Facebook, insta, SnapChat, etc. and then watch them on the other Bachelor shows (Paradise, Winter Games...). It's literally a franchise, and they're casting people who can be the face of this franchise. I hope Becca finds love, but it's not the concern of the Producers that that really happens. That's why it's appearing to be like such a bland season.
