Should the general public be allowed to purchase plans for, and create, their own 3D plastic firearms?

Are you insane? The general public has no right to untraceable and undetectable firearms, no matter what kind of gun is being created.
Yes, but only if and when we create a comprehensive system to record gun plan purchases, just like how we have background checks for regular guns. Until then, it would be the Wild Wild West.
No. I don't see how we could possibly create a system that would adequately protect the general public from these sorts of guns, given how the laws already on the books have allowed many mass shooters to legally buy their weapons.
