And now we all know why politicians never take any of their ideas to a vote of all taxpayers any more. Because most of their idea's would be shot down by all us taxpayers and they could not come up with any more of these very expensive and useless ideas of theirs (bike lanes in a mainly winter city - how does that make any sense and where only maybe, 1% of all edmontonions use them - not the majority who pay for it.)

Because most of their idea's would be shot down by all us taxpayers and they would have nothing to do to explain to all us taxpayers why we are forced to continue to pay them all those HUGE obscene salaries that they do not even truly earn even today. They just gave that to themselves because we taxpayers have no way to stop them just like this idea of theirs.
