Should the Seahawks make this trade?

The Seahawks absolutely should make this trade! Think of the 1-2 punch of a bruiser like Carson and a ball catching elite tailback in Bell. Bell is a couple years older but easily has at least 5-6 good years ahead of him. Look at what the Hawks did last time they had an elite runningback (Super Bowl Champs). The line needs work yet, but they are not giving up draft picks here, they are giving up a guy that wants out, and the most the Hawks will get from Earl is the rest of this year, he will not resign and they will lose him and get nothing in return. The playoffs are a very slim possibility but a Super Bowl this year is an extreme dream. Go Hawks make the trade!!

Watching Penny throughout his time in San Diego, I feel he just needs more time. He'll be just what Seattle needs for years to come. Bell would most likely be a short term fix. Please, no trade. A devoted 12

Bell is a patient runner who waits for the line to make holes. Seahawks like a bruising runner who barrels into the line and drags people with him, that’s what Carson does well. He also 10000 times cheaper right now. Steelers would be the ones coming out on top. Won’t happen.

Assuming the information in the article is accurate, Seattle should not make this trade. Pittsburgh, on the other hand, SHOULD make this trade. To explain, if Thomas is unhappy in Seattle, I'm sure he'd love to come to Pittsburgh where he can still contend and would be a key piece to the secondary. As for Bell, he's unhappy with Pittsburgh...Pittsburgh is unhappy with him. It's all about money. If that isn't going to change, then Bell leave the Steelers unhappy and remains unhappy with the Seahawks. That's no longer the Steelers problem. They will have gotten what they want in Earl Thomas.
