Kinda surprised that Horse Play and Mean 6, imo the two worst episodes of this half of the season, are currently leading.
Meanwhile, add another one for Break up Break Down. Emotional, adorable, another guy's night squad episode and the ever wonderful SugarMac.

"The Mean 6" for me. It was first episode I had genuine blast with during season 8. There were some fine episodes prior to that but nothing that felt to me like actually great episode. Not until "Mean 6". Interesting work on Chrysalis and the evil doppelgangers of Mane 6 was really fun to watch, and loved the way the regular Mane 6 interacted with each other and their evil counterparts. There were plenty of fun moments and plenty of some where conflict creates true heart ache. UItimately it was really fun portray of Mane 6 being able to work things out no matter the conflicts they get into. Lack of actual confrontation with Chrysalis and her evil squad was surprising, but not a deal breaker - the solution worked either way. All in all that was episode with some heart to it. While second half of season 8 in some aspects picked-up in quality of episodes, and there were some really good episodes, I don't think season 8 had episode I enjoyed more than "Mean 6"

I pick School Daze Part 1/Part 2 simply because of how in Part 1 where it was revealed that the events of the MLP Movie are canon to the show :D
And also because it debuted my favorite Student 6/Young 6 Character for me: Silverstream

Non-Compete Clause is there where it has to stay. A crappy episode like few, and the worst of the entire season. I'm quite surprised that Marks for Effort has so few votes thought. It was a nice episode considering it started the buildup of Cozy Glow by introducing her in subtle way. The only problem of the episode, is that Twilight was brutally out of character by not letting the CMCs to explain themself. As much infamous that scene was, was really so bad that ruined the entire episode? I think it's exagerrated...
