Would you prefer children go trick-or-treating on Friday in your community?

Last time I checked Trick or Treat was an option and no one is forced to go out no matter what day someone changes it to. Too much attention for Halloween and it should not be compared to Holidays. Just my opinion and not up for debate.

Trick or treating and Christmas is two different holiday activities. There shouldn’t be a comparison. You don’t have to be outside to enjoy Christmas. I hate the fact we have to change trick or treating for this year but in the same breath, Friday is a great option for the better health of the children’s sake!!!

I’ve never lived in a place where people change Halloween. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. Sounds like it’s more about an inconvenience for the parents than the kids
Would be like changing Christmas just because it’s not snowing or it’s an inconvenient day

NOBLESVILLE here... Halloween is on 31st. Its like moving new years eve to the weekend to save New Yorkers from freezing. Just Dumb! Toddlers and kids AND parents need to learn weather shouldn't stop nor should we. (unless of coarse its a hurricane or something to that nature)

I remember trick or treating in the snow but if it can be changed please do

I don’t understand why everyone else in Indiana gets a special treat ment but Columbus Indiana still has to bring toddlers, babies, and little kids in the rain for them to get sick. My child has a heart murmur and I’m not taking her in the rain.
