Mckinna Murr, Alcoa soccer: Murr had the game tying goal in the 75th minute of the quarterfinal game to send it to overtime. She also made one of the penalty kicks in the shootout to put Alcoa through to the semifinal. After regulation and two overtime periods ended 0-0 in the semifinal loss to Signal Mountain, Murr was successful again during the penalty kick. She also played every minute of both games for a total of 220 minutes.

Eleanor Mancini, Catholic cross country: Mancini won the TSSAA Division 1 Large Schools Region 2 cross country championship. On a hilly course she ran 18:59, which is her best time for a 5k.
