It should apply across Canada, I am disgusted with the amount of bad drivers on the road, but unfortunately we do not have the manpower to put a dent in the amount of risky drivers on the road

Yes I agree with the fee increase for the risky drivers. The government didn't go far enough. The way some people drive and the lack of respect for other drivers is out of control. The passing on double solid lines is the new norm on the regular highways around Prince George. The speeding by some is awful to say the least. The biggest offenders being young women drivers who think because they drive an SUV that they are invincible and can go at any speed they want. A vehicle out of control is a hazard regardless of how it is equipped. I think the fines should be a lot more for the offenders.

The fines for serious offenses - like drunk driving, hit-and-run, etc., are far too low to be meaningful! The only way to stop bad drivers is to fine them to bankruptcy, take away their cars and trucks, and put them in jail for re-offending. And any incident that results in a death-by-auto ought to be considered murder.

Absolutely! I’d say the prick driving down Granville street last night about 80 km in the curb lane changing lanes with no signals and an N on the bumper is a risk to everyone!!
