They say I'm "too legal" (law graduate) to apply for a non-legal job, and "not legal enough" (didn't take the bar exam) to apply for a legal job.

There is bias, either from lawyers recruiters who do not share sympathy towards lawyers applying for non-legal jobs (you are somehow considered as a failure), or from non lawyers recruiters (you are considered too successful or too smart).
