The essence of the policy of Aboriginal assimilation is that Indigenous Peoples in Canada have no rights unless they assimilate and become Canadian (enfranchisement). ... Breach of Promise: Unfulfilled treaties that deny Indigenous rights. 2. Exclusion: Creating legislation that excludes Indigenous rights.

It is only offensive if the two Aboriginal people who complained self identified as part of the Borg collective, otherwise, leave it alone. If you are that easily offended, grab your colouring book and crayons.

Governments are getting way too touchy with the political correctness stuff..They bring more attention to issues that do not exist in the peoples mind.....the thought police are on the loose but people of better understanding know that we all are great people we stand together, we support each other and we love each other no matter where we came from...its the Government that is strung out on crack they draw attention to matters of no public concern, life is a joy ride, make it happen wake up alive and refreshed not confined and controlled by those who want to dominate your actions and thoughts as if you need another mother...
