When I have undies, slips, skirts/dress, blouse, coat, etc., that need mending/altering, I:
A. Staple the ripped hem edges together;
B. Heat glue the fabric holes together with a grocery store pre-glued fabric patch on the underside of the garment, then cover the side that shows with a decoration if its my garment, or another grocery story fabric patch if it is one of my husband’s pants pockets;
C. Use heat glue tape for the hem/seam/drapery valance together using stitch witchery and my iron;
D. Hand hem to shorten the hem or to close a ripped seam—possibly even using T pins to make sure the hem ends up straight;
E. What are a needle and thread?
