At any previous point in my life I would have said Thatcher, for her callous indifference to the pain and division she caused, and the (predictable) consequences of her policies that we still suffer with now. But at least she was competent. Theresa May has all the failings of Thatcher, the warmth of Brown, the integrity of Blair, the self-righteousness of Cameron and the effectiveness of Mr Bean.
