Not at all. This is simply an operations problem that can be taken care by adopting a system of standard practice instructions. The speaker is out of line here and this could of been all handled internally. why would we tie up the courts time and money when a simple solution is available. This has been going on for decades. Just sort it out and everyone will know the boundaries to work within. The speaker is under a recall in his own riding. It is a culture that needs repairing.

Don’t waste the court’s time with this.
An audit and a policy review will take care of things.
It’s criminal what’s going on but it’s not a criminal case that needs to go through the justice system.

Let all the accusations play out in court before judgements are made. No charges are in place at this time so the Speaker can say all he wants. Get it backed up with charges and convictions or else his words mean nothing. I recall he was untruthful when he accepted the Speakers position. If what he says proves to be truthful then I’ll respect his “investigation” but only when proven.

Not till it's audited and found to be out of line with existing policies at the time the expenses were incurred. Fix the system and the rules.
