Much rather have Callahan back and big mistake to let both hit open market. More free agent safeties available to replace Amos and fewer to replace Callahan. Golden State never makes that catch to put Philly on top if Callahan healthy. Disappointed Bears have not chosen to sign Callahan. Letting both hit open market could mean losing both. Releasing Acho and others gives them enough to sign Callahan. Callahan simply s better playmaker than Amos. Watch the tape. Bears dint have cap space to sign big free agents so Callahan should be priority. Pay Callahan and replace Amos and we may even be better defensively.
