  L&D need to provide a wide range of development options and personalised learning to encourage self directed learning, increase learner motivation and meet their needs. L&D also need to move away from guessing to analysing data within the organisation to drive performance and measure learning impact, and this can now be possible thanks to AI that will assist L&D to analysis data for better decision on learners preference, types of content and methods of delivery.

  I believe aligning L&D function to the business strategy and objectives will be hot, as well as L&D as data driven analytics, curation rather than creation, while L&D will move into digital and micro learning to address flexible and remote workforce.

  Moving towards digitalization, the focus will be on how to have supportive platforms that sustain the knowledge that skills gained in the light of having blended learning approach from cost perspective, as well as ensure L&D function is Developed in responding the business needs.
