Should the Steelers have signed Colin Kaepernick?

With Kaepernicks latest Tweet, calling the U.S. terrorists for killing a bonafide terrorist, he should be stripped of citizenship and sent to Iran. If the Steelers ever allow him to tryout I'm done with them. Vick being on the team was very hard for me to take. This would be totally unacceptable.

Altho now the decision is much harder after loosing 3 in a row , But remember the last controversy with the Dog Killer It split the fan base . And did not help the team, Lessons learned should not be forgotten , Plus we saw what a player or two can do to a team .This organization knows how to build winners and we will be back !

For starters, he was not exercising his 1st amendment rights. Nobody has the right to protest while at work, on the clock.
Period. As was shown by his "work out" fiasco in Atlanta, he has no interest in playing football. All he is now is an activist, with his strings being pulled by his radical, America hating, cop hating (remember his pig dressed as a cop socks?) Muslim gal pal and their BFF Linda Sarsour, who is a carbon copy of his gal pal.

There are worse behaved players in the NFL than Kaepernick. He exercised his 1st amendment rights which is nothing compared to the asinine behaviors we've come to expect from other players around the league. That said, it never hurts to have a veteran QB as a backup. He's played in big games and the experience and skill set he would have brought to the table might have made a difference in the outcome of the season.

The 2019 Steelers won 8 games and had a chance to win about 6 of the other 8 by playing together as a team despite their lack of offensive firepower. Bringing in Kaepernick would have divided the team and the fan base, and more than likely not have led to any more wins. The fans who think this is a good idea would probably be interested in bringing back AB as well ,and that in my opinion is preposterous.

The Steelers finally are rid of 2 distractions, they don't need another one.

The Steelers don’t need the distraction. I stopped watching football when they stopped showing OUR national anthem.there is a time and a place for everything . That is not the place to disrespect our country love it or leave it there is also plenty of room to make it better protesting our flag and anthem does not make it better

I could understand him wanting to protest, but I, as a 10 year veteran (4 U.S. Navy/6 U.S. Army) took it as a slap in the face. It's show how ignorant he is!!!! That is our national anthem. Besides the Rooney's would of never let him be signed, they run a class act organization just look at the history of the team.

We should learn to forgive and let someone prove themselves that they have grown from their past. Maybe yes or no but without forgiveness we will never know.

The steelers may have done better or worse with kaspernick but the attendamce would be down as i fpr one wouldn't go to any games or watch them on tv.
