My brother has a 1 year old daughter and is a huge hotep. He doesn't trust the government. I've explained the concept of herd immunity to him, and he's like "Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I don't like how they're going to FORCE people to take it." I don't know what to say. Just like it's hard for people to conceptualize large numbers, modern people are just going to have to witness more death before they take this seriously.

I’d have to wait and see how it works on people first. The last time I took the flu vaccination I thought I was going to die. Not euphemistically but really was sick enough from it that I thought I was dying. I’d want to wait awhile but I would continue to stay inside and practice social distancing while I waited.

I don’t get the flu shot nor the pneumonia shot for myself or my kids so I’ll be crazy to even think about getting covid????????‍♀️

Tomorrow, no, because it’ll likely make me sicker or die. Effective vaccines can’t be ready this soon.

A few months from now, after human trials are over? Absolutely.

I'll treat the vaccine like I treat new electronics. I'll wait for the 2.0 version. Let them work out the glitches on the first batch.

Although I’m far from an anti-v*xxer, if I a vaccine was indeed available tomorrow, I’d be reluctant to be the first to try it. I’ll eventually be on board, should/when the trials are successful.

I'm not opposed to the vaccine, but I'm not going to be the first one to take it, So if it was tomorrow, I probably would not do it. I ain't going to be the test case for the vaccine.

If a vaccine just popped up out of nowhere ain't no way in hell I'm taking it. I'm all for vaccines but without knowing if all the proper steps were taken before releasing it to the public I would be highly skeptical. Trump's disregard for the general public and his rush to get people back to work would lead me to think he rushed some shit to market to get the economy back running and potentially cash in. I voted no in the poll but if the vaccine had the endorsement of respected officials I'd be much more likely to take it.
