What happens to bleeding time after Heparin Infusion?
Remain normal since heparin's action is nothing to do with platelets
It marginally prolongs it but its not clinically significant
Heparin can cause significant prolongation of BT since thrombin mediated secondary platelet aggregation is Interfered.
It can prolong BT by thromocytopenia (Non HIT related)
I have been taught Heparin prolongs only clotting time. Now am not sure , this question confuse me.
