Suicide Solution live was the best guitar solo he ever did in my opinion, I had the pleasure of seeing him live twice in the early 80s he was beyond amazing

I love every single solo he wrote the short time he lived he made some of the best guitar solos of all time but Mr Crowley was such an amazing solo.

Though I'm partial to Crowley because I remember hearing it and just sitting there with my guitar and thinking if I could ever play that then I could play anything , same with Dee it became my mt everest on guitar . I did eventually climb it and went back and realized that was just one peak , that anything randy played was unique and worth learning. 41 yrs and thousands of songs later I still feel the same accomplishment and joy playing his music I felt when it was just a kid with a cheap guitar trying to scale the summits that randy left for me to both be in awe of and try to climb . RIP RANDY

Personal preference, no right nor wrong answer.

I was always partial to both of the Mr. Crowley solos, and, even the harmonized lead thing before the outro solo - a brazilian years ago when I was in a garage band, I played a shitload of bass backing for a close friend when he was learning, perfecting, rehearsing and ultimately performing those. I'll never tire of hearing them played well.

This is more difficult than it seems from an Ozzy/Randy album point of view. Those two albums are perfect in their construction, execution, and musicality on just about all music composition fronts insofar as the history of Rock & Roll is concerned. In reading this article, what struck me was the phrase "Ferocious Playing", and for that reason, I am picking the maniacal solo in S.A.T.O. if anything, just to bring it to light, just in case anyone hasn't heard it in a while. Each solo Randy pinned was unbelievable and to me, they all represent a body of work that can't be separated simply by picking one. It's an experience and a privilege to listen to it unfadingly after more than 40 years.

I saw the 5th US show of The Blizzard..
I've never seen another player like him..
The opening notes from Believer , which no one had heard before are burned in.
Revelation " live" is another thing in itself..
But I pick the ripper in You can't Kill Rock n Roll.
    Brilliant

RIP Randy we will miss you forever

Mr. C will probably win out and it may be his best?? S.A.T.O... too many great ones! For a guy who seems to have had such a small catalog, he has some of the all time great guitar pieces! I went with Over The Mountain. Love the fills, it stays busy throughout and it hit's on just about all of the different techniques for rock guitar!

Randy is GOD!!!! If I have to pick just one, it's the outro to Tonight. According to Max Norman the solo actually goes on for minutes on the master. Sucks we will probably never get to hear the whole thing!!!!!

Randy is my favorite player, since Blizzard came out. I picked Crowley, but every note he played is gold. Hard to believe it's 40 years since he passed. Randy is the greatest!!

All the solos are awesome!! How can you choose just one?

Mr Crowley solo all the way .. their are 2 solos and a really cool bridge between the 2 it took me 6 months to learn them .. even installed a dimarzio super distortion pickup to get the tone right.

Was hoping to vote on the suicide solution tribute solo spot. Inspiring to the max!

Chose the song “Trouble” my all time favorite Randy Rhoads solo when he formed the band Quiet Riot, being a guitarist myself my entire life!

Picking the best Rhoads solo out of that list was and is impossible. I ended up just picking SATO because I love the track. Rhoads was a genius that was taken away to soon. Heaven knows what music we would have been blessed with.
