Jay Leno, although a closer trip and higher rated (slightly, I believe, not even sure) is not your style. His show comes off as forced, with punchlines and timing that can be seen from a mile away.
Go with Letterman, YOU will have much more fun, which will, in turn, allow us, your fans, to have more fun watching you.
Yea Letterman is cool, and he is funny, but so is Leno. Plus he's retiring soon, make his day. He has obviously reached out to you, show him some love. I would love to see Jay Leno look SMALL next to Shaq. Plus he is on the coast, closer to your bball fans.

Letterman is the real deal - Shaq belongs on the NYC stage.
Letterman has a more free flowing environment.... which increases the likelihood it'll be funny as hell.
