    Number 8.

i chose the same one as the first 3. even though the original idea that you have on the business cards was good, i have to agree about the trust factor. it is a bit cleche* (however you spell it, you catch my drift) but i think it is attracting. it certainly caught my eye. id choose that one as fav and have the last one as a good back up.

I liked the one I picked and then found that others feel the same way. How odd is that? The logo etc seems to say what I think you are about.

My vote is for the 3rd from last version. The combined use of upper and lower case letters demonstrates the fact that the brand is a play on two words. The design also allows you to include your chosen tag-line as an "underlining" feature when appropriate. A suggestion would be to tweak the icon to look more like a $ and increase its strength as a stand-alone image.

    Looking forward to the verdict!

    Best, Shawn

    Difficult choice.

I liked the orange and blue colour combination of the first one. I think some additional work may be needed on the globe, for the one I chose, smaller maybe?
I liked the fast and secure byline on the logo I chose. It seems the top reason for distrust in the online world is the ; is this secure and if I use this am i going to face identity theft, and spam.
Sorry for the lack of commitment to a single logo

I like the first one. Background colour option flexible (B or W- i like B). not sure yet how you'd tie the arrows with the strategic thinking/mission statement of the firm though i'm sure you could come up with something. Not sure that a tag-line with trust in it works- it brings up an issue that people might not have otherwise thought of it- it's assumed that any online payment is secure; a trust tag-line gets into "you can trust me i'm the best used-car salesman in town!!". I like the tag line of the coin logo- tells you what the service provides. not sure on having the globe in a logo- i think your firm is aiming for a more local catchment- do you pay/donate to teams that you are a member of in other countries (???)- i may be wrong though (gasp!!). As for option 2 it's just too wintry- those bubbles/colours look like snowflakes/snow- or is that just me failing to cope with all the snow we have here right now?

Just dashing out so will look in detail when I return, but at first glance a definate no no is the one with the bubbles - it looks like a soap sud advert.
From having created logos for events and the like before, really think about who your target audience is and what message you are getting across, some have a strap line, some don't, I like the strap line, secure, fast efficient but will have a look again properly later on tonight.

Like the coin, thought tag line was good as it says more about what the service is, though also like the snappier one suggested. Agree white line through text not necessary, like white background more than black.

I have chosen the last one as I prefer the font and colurs, however the pencil makes it a bit cluncky hence my suggestion for this one would be to replace with coin symbol. In line with another suggestion I like the easy, quick, secure wording as a strap line as opposed ot the word smooth.

  • Julian sheather - 15 years ago

Although I've given a preference, I have to admit to not really being blown away by any of these. I do not like the colours or the type face and they all seem a little busy.

    Apologies.

Dollar sign not so good, so prefer coin, but make it a womans head
Strapline not so good....bit dawky. Who is your target audience and what resonates with them or is it just EASY QUICK SAFE. (Smooth is not a good word)
Classic rather than cartoon like and some green is a good colour in this market, with some blue. And take the thin white line out of the Fundrazr, it will look like a printer error on paper ....or maybe just ignore me!

  • Gina - 15 years ago

I like the 2nd one, dark blue background with wording going to white and pale blue, with the circles around which look like bubbles, I felt if I saw it I would want to open it, where as the others with dollar signs people may not. Good luck.

I agree with Jacob. He is completely right.

A little torn on the logos - I do agree with some of the comments - but I think that the $ is the _most_ global of money symbols, but still US centric. That's why I kind of like the coin, although it's not actually my favorite logo. A coin with a face on it could be almost any country.

  • Chris - 15 years ago

Yes! I voted for the one everyone else did.

For me personally, it doesn't matter what your logo looks like. I will use your service if it helps me and is easy to use.

    Cheers,

    Chris

Got to agree. It's simplicity is what makes it work so well, IMHO.

  • Jacob Barker - 15 years ago

The one with green 'FUND', blue 'RAZR' and then the green 'Z' as a dollar sign.

I think the whole 'trust' slogan will go a long way in the current climate. ;)
