Vale has already chewed up one aussie and spat him out this season....bring on the next!!!. Troy a great guy and Gary Mc right both Gods in their own way. Lets see a Stoner v Troy race for best Aussie....my bet in it ending in tears..ooops that will be Stoner blubbin then !!!! Bring on 2009 and the single tyre rule

In my opinion, Vale would win, and Troy would be not too far behind, to watch Valentino, when under pressure, he has such mind blowing control, we are lucky to have seen the likes of him and troy, even if on different machinery!

Gary Mc your recall is wrong!!! Bayliss was nowhere in his moto gp career!! Came back for a one off ride at the last race in Valencia 2006 & won. Yes he is a quality rider but nowhere near the class of Valentino!!!

bayliss never had a bike like rossi, he had satellite bikes and also not factory mechanics which are the best and you need a factory to win championships, but bayliss did have a one off on the duke and look what he did

The question to be made clear is what bikes would they both ride ? Identical machines, or Troy on a Ducati and Vale on the Yamaha ? I ask this because the Ducati may be thought of as having an advantage, after all how close were those WSB bikes this last season ? What the public would like to see, I expect, is them on the same specification bikes. Troy is out of contract now isn't he, so would that mean Yamaha WSB bikes, or would Ducati allow Vale on one of their's ? Would be a great race though, both are the best in their classes by a country mile, but who is the overall number 1 ? I'm thinking we would see the "46" bike pass the finish line first.

You'd have to make it two races, WSB and MotoGP. Troy would give Vale a real tussle due to his familiarity with the former, but Vale is the MotoGP King of Kings and with no championship risks involved he would thrash anyone in an isolated race, even Bayliss, for whom I have massive respect.
Go on then, lads, make it a date and if it's at a proper circuit, like Donington, Oulton or the Silverstone GP, it might just make you both a one off million each.

Hasn't Troy totally blitzed the GP Gods before - first time out too if I recall?
So get real you lot, Rossi wouldn't stand a chance against Troy and I absouluetly love the guy to bits! Love you too Troy :) Both Gods in their own right.
Lets leave it like that, 'cos I certainly ain't got a million wonga to set this one up!
