Which title/subtitle combo appeal most to you?

    I agree with both comments. I chose the second because of the word EDITOR. But I do like the shortened version above. Flogging the Quill: Crafting a Novel that Sells
    Anyway, good luck.

    Much better but still seems a tad on the wordy side. How about trimming?

    Maybe Flogging the Quill: Crafting a Novel that Sells? Or something like that? But you're definitely going in the right direction. NEVER waste a non-fiction platform. :-)

    I like the user of "Editor" in the second one. To me this is a huge selling point. "I'm going to get advice from an Editor?" It just gives me confidence that the book will be useful.
