I wouldn't consider myself a "sore loser" but I have been entering captions since last year (Oct.) and not one of them has appeared. I think some are funny. I guess "funny" is to "each their own". My caption for this one was, "I see your Government Stimulus check, it's in the mail........" I guess some people don't find irony funny.
I'll just keep trying.
I feel the same way with Cindy and Mike's comments above.
Most of your selections are so dull without possessing any "instant sense" of humor at all.
I suggest that you may run all those entrances every quarter or semiannual, and let your readers to vote for the top ten.
I bet it will come up with some really funny ones , and we all can laugh about it.
I saw this contest for the first time last month. I read some of the comments and thought that the ones saying that the top picks were bad and that their entrant was better were sore losers. Well, I have to agree with them. Mine was " I see an increase in net worth. Oh, wait, that's my future." Well, I guess funny is in the mind of the beholder. I would like to see the entire list though.
Income tax time is here and this caption is intune with taxes " someone special is about to enter your life; i see his initials I. R. S . " If that is not very funny than i wish your mother-in -law come live with you !

Just wondering why some of the entries don't have the names of the people who wrote them.
Disappointed again! The top picks by your "Judges" just aren't that good. I could not even pick three from your list. Wonder how many were sent in and why more could not be considered? Is one of the judges at least the artist and what would their caption have been?
