lets say a hurricane came by an wiped out all the towers what are you left with..no power
no communications... the only thing that works it the telephone lines.. they work cheap and more data is good but good ole telephones work when you need them so snap back to reality this isn't star trek.

if the world is becoming more data communicaton, then the past analog voice method should be obsolete...the only thing i hope for is that we will be able to access cheap bandwidth
