I have been a fan of Star Trek for a long time. I have endured the movies as well as the Spinoffs. I even find myself very enthused about the new movie(So much that I even went out and brought the pre-movie comic). My problem lies with continuity. Why do the movie people feel they always have to fix something that is not broken. From the trailers I have seen they have created a whole new past for a future that almost all trek fans know could not have happened with the way this movie is given to us. I am not going to get upset about it. What I will do Is blame it on Captain Braxton(Voyager) and Daniels(Enterprise).

Roddenberry is rolling over in his 'grave' (I know- he was cremated)- looks bad. My wife calls it "Star Trek crossed with Crank". They seem to be throwing out a lot of continuity- so sad. This future looks pretty pretty bleak- nothing like Gene's future. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am.
