As a Youth Worker (professional or volunteer) I know this about my students:

I know my students aren't perfect, and we try to walk through the tough stuff together.

My kids are messed up, and I know way more than I want to.

I avoid knowing anything about their personal lives away from church/youth group. It gets too complicated.

I have a great group of students- they behave all the time.
