What a joke that Lou Dobbs calls himself "Mr. Independent." He is neither independent, impartial or fair. He is clearly quite critical of even the most moderate of democrats. I also find I need to turn the channel whenever I hear his annoying tone, he is so negative, angry and smug---hopefully his health plan through CNN offers some type of mood enhancing medication, he needs it.

I definitely agree that CNN needs to apologize to America because Lou Dobbs is such a Republican tool.
I love that poll question! It perfectly illustrates the ridiculous loading of the Lou Dobbs poll question---the assumption that it is a granted fact that Obama is in fact apologizing, and the only issue is whether or not he is apologizing too much. It's like that old kindergarten taunt, "Why are you such an idiot?" or "Why do you love wearing pink underwear?"
It reminds me of the Rammusen poll not too long ago that attempted to discredit the idea that Rush Limbaugh was the de facto (or as he would say. "titular") leader of the Republican party. One of the possible responses was "Yes, Rush is our leader...he says jump; we say how high." Josh Marshal pointed out that this wasn't much different than asking if you consider yourself Rush's B1tch.

The most irritating thing about Lou Dob's is his sanctimonious presentation of himself as some disinterested guardian of the public good. It's always the pompous fatheads like Dobbs, O'Reilly and Limbaugh who purport to be the voice of the "little people", a classic characteristic of megalomaniacs. When someone talks about "looking out for you", there's only one person he's looking out for, and it ain't you.

Maybe if Dobbs wasn't so pigheaded, he would understand that not everything America does is seen by the rest of the world as good. I am more concerned that the President feels compelled that he has to travel throughout the world to repair relations with other countries because of what the Cheney/Bush administration destroyed in the eight years they were in power.
