You know what hurts the most out of all of this the fact that no one thinks about what the family and the children of the victims are going through how this affects the moms and the kids their future as they grow older and who gives the right to others in authority to open a wound that has had to be dealt with for twelve years and still dealing with it its sad to have heard the death of the woman found i know the 1997 conviction of the two men had nothing to do with it. just imagining what her family is going through so much lifetime of pain and suffering that affects the state of mind i know my family knows we all live it everyday as it comes and goes by. NO one understands unless you live it in the flesh. people really need to treat others as they would want others to treat them with respect. if you plan on pointing the finger point it first at yourself im so upset at the media and the newspapers for putting our past out there and having us relive those days of torture especially when you know they are innocent and there is nothing you can do to prove it these men were hardworking family orientative and have a christian background those who knew their persona know they are good men just like the woman a mother a friend a good woman all of them didn't deserve what came to them. yet many point the finger he's a druglord she's a prostitute nothing but gangbangers scums of the earth is this right to talk without listening of who you are talking about?

    >One more thing. Her mother told me she tried to file a missing
persons on Krissy, but the police said they couldn't cause she
was an adult!!! Come on, folks. A person is a person and if they
are missing, should be considered to find her. Maybe if they had
put out an A.P.B on her earlier, she could have been found.

    >I am a friend of the family and knew Krissy really well. She had her
faults and got messed up with drugs, but she was a sweet girl.
No one deserves what happened to her. She wanted to clean up her
act and get her children back home where they belonged. I feel
so sorry for the family. Her mother is one of my best friends ever
and always will be. God Bess Her.

Not only was it misleading information but it prolongs the investigation my brother is not a druglord and has nothing to do with the woman's murder its disturbing to our family to have read their names brought into suspicion to the murder case. If people are going to talk shit they should have proof to back it up. Assumptions should not be the first alternative in a murder investigation not all convicted are guilty twelve years later. My brother has nothing to do with this murder and he is just as surprised as the next one. our prayers go out to her family and for her killer to get caught to clear suspicion on my brother.

There is no rush order for the general public to be informed. If anything, the longer the Police are able to keep it quiet, the longer they have to secure the scene, find whatever evidence they can, transport the body and hopefully be able to inform the family regarding the tragedy. I think the public often forgets that in this day and age, we really do NOT have the right to know EVERYTHING as it happens. Think about it, if the young lady was part of your family, would you really have wanted hundreds of nosy, need to photograph it,put it on the local news...etc. type of people around the area? They most likely would have picked up valuable evidence or destroyed it without any realization of the fact, pic worth $$...how do you get privacy protection for the victim & her family once you post it? Don't give a damn? Wait til it happens to someone you know.

Perhaps the police had a reason why to withhold information... Investigation, family notification, or any other reason.
Why jeopardize an ongoing investigation especially if deemed that there is no danger to the public?
Do people like to know? Yes. However, if by waiting a few days so that it possibly ensures that the person (or persons) responsible are caught, then I would rather the wait.
