I am a true fan and I have faith in the red sox. They hit a bit of a slump as a team, but they are getting it back slowly. They won 3/4 of the games against Detroit. Beckett and Lester are DEFINITELY the best pitchers for the red sox. They are in control. ELLSBURY IS THE MAN!!!! I love him so much! He is so cute. More importantly, he is doing great for the red sox. A great player. What do you guys think? I love him to death. Every time I see him, I smile!

Beckett didn't give up a single run and went 7 innings, and then lester only gave up one run--a solo shot to a-rod--for 7 innings. the reason we lost those starts was because of a poor offense. have you watched any of these games, because every red sox fan knows this?

Mike Pollands, are you insane? How are Beckett and Lester struggling? They are the best one-two punch for pitchers in the league. I suggest you become a real red sox fan before you make stupid comments.

We are in trouble our staff is less than good. Beckett and Lester are struggling we have nothing after them and Smoltz what a joke. Unfotunetly the Yanks are firing on all cylinders and with Papi off the juice there are no walk offs coming from him anymore. We couldn't get one hit and if Martinez was still in Clevland we would have gotten shutout 3 games in a row not good. I hate to say this but the nation is dead and holding our breath for a wild card spot and thats not going to happen Tampa is right behind hope we stay healthy next year

Red Sox are known as the comeback team. Thats pretty much that is all that needs to be said. The team has more than enough fire power to get the job down. Our nation never gives up.

I'm not pushing the "panic" button just yet!
I do think though, there has to be some other things to do to get out of this batting slump - how about a bunt every once in awhile and I mean the big hitters too - Ortiz, Bay, Drew and CERTAINLY Ellsbury. He's the catalyst in this and when he gets on base, he's a huge threat. My feeling is - "the element of surprise" and once the bunts are successful, the hits will come.
I'm reading Mike Lowell's book "DEEP DRIVE" - let's begin thinking that that baseball is a "wiffle" ball and just relax and your his will come.
Nice book, it made me cry sometimes, Lowell is one of my favorite players - nice family, all around nice guy!
YANKS are way too egotistic now - let's go out there and see how tough SOX can be from now until the end of September.
