I think it is great. How can anyone think that this would mislead the buyer? If anything it might keep a buyer from making a mistake. It is very hard for most people to imagine what rooms will look like when they see them empty. The next time I buy a home if it is empty I plan to do a virtual staging for myself.

I just wrote a blog about this expressing my opinion in greater detail. Basically, I don't think it's deceiving but certain "Best Practices" must be implemented by the stager or realtor.
