Are you kidding me?! So DISAPPOINTED! Talk about jumping the shark...might as well jumped a whale with jumping 5 years forward! c'mon, the writers must really be novices if they can't think up ANY creative material with Melinda and a baby...NOT a five year old. I was a devouted fan, but this really is ridiculous...Ned hasn't changed a lick (other than the changing of the actual actor) in five years, and the last episode deals with internet/email issues that are current in 2009. REALLY? THIS DECADE ALONE SHOULD MAKE YOU AWARE THAT TECHNOLOGY CHANGES IN A FLASH MUCH LESS IN 5 YEARS! You've totally lost two veiwers, and really, I hope you lose more viewers because the story is just geting more ridiculous. First Ned, now Jim and a new chacater Aiden...too many character changes and story jumps. Go jump a ghost of a whale...I hope it swallows you whole.

I agree with osofine and VBS, the writers should have at least had a 2 hour premiere to go through the first 5 years of Aiden's life. Are they just expecting us to forget the Jim/Sam thing, who is he now?

I have not liked Ghost Whisperer since Jim's rebirth. Melinda was always so grounded and her character should never have been so accepting of Jim's body stealing. I also don;t like the fact that the story now focuses so much on Jim and Melinda. I liked the stories abou other peoples life events much better, with only a little about the "home" crowd.

Too easy! Too many loose ends tied up in a neat package... Especially, "Sam" now being called "Jim" - sorry, that is just too weird!! So Melinda's husband, Jim dies, she gets involved with a man that everyone in town (including Jim's former co-workers, paramedics who would most likely run into now that he's a doctor!) knows as Sam, and then he suddenly decides he wants the same nickname as Melinda's dead husband - weird and tacky! Plus, a 5 year jump?! We never get to see Melinda adjusting to motherhood? Probably the biggest life changes one can go through, and we just miss the character development? And hey, why isn't Prof. Payne back from sabbatical by now?! Thumbs down.

I thought the new episode was one of the best yet. My wife and i never miss an episode and we are never dissappointed.
